You upload a High Court judgment to run an Analysis. A day later you want to ask a specific question about paragraph 47. Until now, QnA would only take a fresh upload, so you found the file on your machine again and uploaded the same bytes a second time.

That is a wasted minute and, less obviously, a second copy counting against your storage.

QnA now lets you pick a document from your Uploads Library.

How it works

On the QnA screen, choose a file you have already uploaded instead of browsing your machine. Anything in your Uploads Library is available, whichever tool originally put it there.

Fresh uploads still work exactly as before. The library is an additional option, not a replacement.

Why it is worth the click

Storage is the obvious saving. A 40 MB judgment uploaded twice occupies 80 MB of your plan's allowance, and there is no benefit to the second copy.

The less obvious saving is finding the file at all. Most lawyers do not maintain a tidy folder structure for downloaded judgments. The library already has the document, named and dated, so picking it is usually faster than remembering whether it went to Downloads or the case folder.

This is the same picker already used by Legal Opinion and Draft. QnA was the tool still holding out.

Documents worth keeping in the library

Standard form agreements you adapt for many clients. Judgments you cite often. Bare act extracts and jurisdiction specific orders you return to across matters. Upload each once, then reach for it from any tool that accepts a file.
