Translate PDFs in Page Groups — Compare Easily, Rerun Only What You Need

Translating a long judgment has always been an all-or-nothing affair. You submit 100 pages, wait for the result, and then face the task of cross-checking a 100-page translation against a 100-page original. If something in the translation looks off, finding exactly where in the source it came from is tedious. And if the job fails — which can happen with dense or heavily formatted documents — you have nothing to show for the wait.

The AI Translator now lets you divide your PDF into page groups before submitting.

How it works

When you upload a PDF for translation, you can choose to split it into sections — say, pages 1–10 as one job, pages 11–20 as the next, and so on. Each group translates independently. You decide the size of each group based on how carefully you need to review the output.

This is a choice you make, not something the platform does automatically. For a routine translation where you just need the text, you may not need to split at all. For a charge sheet or a judgment that you will be using in arguments or a client briefing, working in smaller groups gives you much better control.

Easier to compare, section by section

The main advantage is comparison. When your original and your translation are both 10 pages, sitting them side by side and checking the accuracy is a manageable task. When they are both 100 pages, it becomes a project. Splitting by page group lets you verify each section as it comes back, rather than attempting to review everything at once at the end.

Only the problem group needs to be rerun

In rare cases, a particular stretch of text — dense tables, mixed-script passages, heavily formatted layouts — can cause a translation to fail. When the whole document is one job, the entire job fails. When you are working in page groups, only the group with the problem fails. Everything else is already done and correct. You resubmit that one group, not the whole document.

File size limit is unchanged

The 44 MB file size limit per upload applies as before. Page group splitting is about working more carefully with large documents — not a workaround for file size. Each group you submit is still subject to the same limit.
