How does SMRITI find relevant passages in my documents?
SMRITI uses a hybrid search combining full-text keyword search (FTS5) and semantic vector search. This means it finds the right passage even if you don't use the exact words from the document.
Can SMRITI help with drafting, not just research?
Yes. When you enable SMRITI in the Draft or Reply tool, MAYA draws context from your uploaded documents — previous drafts, precedents, or reference agreements — to produce more accurate and relevant output.

Yes. Documents in SMRITI are stored in your isolated account vault. They are never shared with other users, never indexed by external search engines, and never used to train AI models.
